Here’s a nicely preserved stainless 1947 Super Deluxe Tudor sedan with 57,565 original miles (92,104 km. ). Original Ford 239 (3.9 L) flathead V8 with 100 horsepower. Drives well and super evenly. 3 speed manual transmission (3 on the tree).
The Super Deluxe was the top of the line of Ford models right behind the Lincolns. I imported the car to Denmark at the end of 2017. The car was acquired at an estate sale after the owner died and brought to Dallas, Texas, where I purchased it from. It stayed in Shreveport, Louisiana but there is a Wyoming sticker from 1974 – 75
Floors and bodywork are very nice, and there will be no need for rust work to pass DK SYN. The color is maroon with some metal flake. The repaint is old but shines up pretty well. Lots of chips and small bubbles, but looks presentable from 2 meters. Very nice grey tweed padding. Original dashboard in good condition. Front and rear bumpers have been chromed. New correct steel rims, hub caps and trim rings. An old diagonal tire. Original suspension not lowered. Flathead V8 with 3 gear manual transmission. A new 6 volt battery will be included in the sale of the vehicle.
The car needs a little love and attention for the little things. Brakes need to be adjusted and cleaned. The steering wheel is tight. Trans is shifting very smoothly. A lovely well kept collector car.
